Is there a better way to description?

Humans constantly try to devise appropriate ways to describe their experiences. Many great thinkers have had their say:

Man tries to make for himself in the fashion that suits him best a simplified and intelligible picture of the world.

Albert Einstein.

In our description of nature the purpose is not to disclose the real essence of the phenomena but only to track down, as far as possible, relations between the manifold aspects of our experience.

Niels Bohr.

By a model is meant a mathematical construct which, with the addition of certain verbal interpretations, describes observed phenomena.

Von Neuman.

Traditional modeling is based on these ideas. It has served us well for some specific problems, mostly in Science and Engineering. It is used to build Internet services as well.
