Basic TermsTIMP.NET Enterprise 2005 is free for evaluation and development; the evaluation version allows any number of users to be created, although maximum 5 users can connect to the server at the same time.

Buying a license  lets you upgrade the evaluation version to the commercial version of TIMP.NET, without any reinstallation, to allow having more than 5 concurrent users.
About TIMP.NET Enterprise 2005The documentation of this new version has been updated. The new version supports Windows 2003. If you bought a TIMP 1.x.x License you contact us for a discount if you want to upgrade. The upgrade is not mandatory and if everything is working fine with your installation, we recomend that you do not upgrade.
Downloading and Installing TIMP.NETTo download and install TIMP.NET follow these simple steps:

1 - Select a computer be the "server" for the TIMP.NET Server and another networked computer to be the "PC" for the XMPP IM client.
2 - Download the TIMP.NET installer  on the "Server Machine".
3 - Download TipicIM  or try another XMPP Client  and install it on the "PC".
4 - ATTENTION: read the installation instructions before installing!
5 - Start the TIMP.NET installer and follow the instructions.
6 - The TIMP.NET Wizard starts automatically when the installation is completed.
7 - Start the IM Client on the "PC", connect to the IM Server and enjoy!
Attention!TIMP is a server application and as such, you must take special care while installing it:
•  make sure you have the necessary administrator privileges when installing;
• if you are using TIMP.NET as your production IM Server, it is advisable to install only the software that is essential for its purposes to avoid potential software conflicts; and
