TIMP.NET Enterprise 2005 Meets Key Requirements for Existing User Base Integration and Third Party Services Integration (VOIP, Video and SMS)
NEW YORK, May 25 – Tipic Inc. (http://www.tipic.com), a pioneer of network independent Instant Messaging platforms based on open protocols, for wired and wireless devices, today announced that Tiscali, the European Internet Communication Company, has selected TIMP.NET Enterprise 2005 as its company standard for Instant Messaging. Tiscali will deploy TIMP.NET to enable real-time communications internally as well as integrate VOIP and Video communication.
“Tipic has provided us with an easy to use yet sophisticated application for Instant Messaging that addresses our exact needs – including integration with our existing Data Base, integration with our consumer services such as VOIP and Video Communications, FAX, Radio streaming and SMS services”, said Mario Mariani SVP Business Development at Tiscali.
Besided supplying TIMP.NET Enterprise 2005, Tipic assisted Tiscali with the implementation of the single sign-on authentication as well as helping Tiscali customize Tipic’s Wired Instant Messaging Client.
“Being an ISP we were looking for an Instant Messaging Solution with the correct mix of Open Standards, Open Source and Commercial applications, that is why we chose Tipic” added Mr.Mariani.
Tiscali is planning to complete its rollout of TIMP.NET Enterprise 2005 to all its users globally by December 2005.
