Overview

The TIMP.NET Console is a powerful tool that helps you administer TIMP.NET Enterprise Server, once it is installed, configured and up and running. TIMP.NET Console is a Web Based application, that allows you to administer your TIMP.NET Server from the machine where TIMP.NET is installed.

You can also use the TIMP.NET Console on any PC connected to the machine where TIMP.NET is installed (provided that it is in the same network and you do not use the windows firewall on the machine where TIMP.NET is installed).

Starting the TIMP.NET Console

To start the TIMP.NET Console, from Windows Start:

All programs -> TIMP.NET -> TIMP.NET Console

TIMP.NET Console prompts you to log-in; the default account that you must use to log-in the first time:

Once you are logged in, change the username and password; the first time you log-in under Instance you will find:

CLICK HERE: PLEASE CHANGE ADMIN PASSWORD

Click as prompted and in the center column in the Site panel, you will be able to insert the username and password that you choose, click on Apply change and then on Save to disk.

Everytime you change something in the TIMP.NET console, clicking on Apply Changes, will commit the changes to the running instance, but WILL NOT save the changes to the configuration file; if you stop TIMP.NET (restarting your PC for example), your data changes will be lost UNLESS you click on Save to Disk.

You can find the main commands on the top of the window:

After 5 minutes of inactivity, you are logged-out from the TIMP.NET Console, and you will have to log-in again.
