The S2S component (default.gateway) allows for Inter-domain communication and Interoperability between XMPP/Jabber Servers; the S2S component establishes and manages server-to-server connections through port 5269; the S2S is used when a message from a user on one TIMP.NET server must be sent to another user on another TIMP.NET server or any XMPP/Jabber server.
