Step 4: First time connection

TIMP.NET Wizard prompts you to create a user (which will be the administrator of TIMP.NET); write down the username and the password (that you choose) so that use can use this account to connect to TIMP.NET for the first time.

When the TIMP.NET Wizard is over TIMP.NET starts automatically as a Windows service (if you reboot your machine, TIMP.NET starts automatically).

TIMP.NET Wizard will prompt the creation of an account (which will be the administrator and first user of the IM Server); TIMP.NET Wizard will NOT prompt for the creation of an account, only if you choose "integrated with local machine" as an authentication mechanism.

Using TipicIM (the desktop IM client from Tipic Inc.) try to connect to TIMP.NET for the first time, using the username and password of the account you created. Try connecting to TIMP.NET from the same machine where TIMP.NET is installed and, if that is successful, from a PC that is connected to the machine where TIMP.NET is installed. If you succeed, then you are ready to deploy any number of IM clients on all PCs connected to the machine where TIMP.NET is installed.
